Work with us to electrify your fleet

How we can support your business

All businesses, big and small, are going to need to make the switch to electric vehicles in the coming decade. With so many new things to take into consideration when purchasing electric vehicles, from charging and range to battery life and running costs, making the right choice for your business can feel like a huge challenge.

It doesn’t have to be. At Innovation Automotive, we’re doing all that work for you. We offer a range of EV products across multiple brands, brands we’ve chosen to work with due to the quality of their electric vans. Our knowledgeable team can help you find the best fit for your business needs, and ensure you know everything you need to know about keeping your new electric van on the road.

Benefits of switching your business to electric

There are some clear and obvious benefits to switching your business to electric vehicles, such as lowering your carbon emissions and boosting your green credentials, something more and more customers like to see in businesses they buy from.

There are more advantages to driving electric vehicles than being eco-friendly, such as:

Lower running costs

There are huge savings to be made in the cost of charging an electric van versus refuelling a petrol or diesel van. Charging your vehicle is considerably cheaper than refuelling, and, as there are fewer moving parts in an EV than a standard internal combustion engine, servicing costs less.

Avoid emissions charging schemes

Electric vehicles also help you save if you’re regularly driving in London’s Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) or any of the new Clean Air and Low Emission Zones now live and being proposed in cities from Bath to Glasgow. For instance, it currently costs £12.50 a day to drive in London’s ULEZ area, but this drops to £0 if you’re in a fully electric van.

Government incentives

Several schemes are available to make the switch to electric more viable for businesses. The Government’s Plug-In Van Grant, applicable to all of our electric vans, contributes 35% of the purchase price up to £2,500 for small vans and up to £5,000 for large vans.  There are tax incentives available too, from a lower Benefit-In-Kind tax rate to a 100% first year allowance on low-emission vehicles, as well as money towards workplace chargepoint installation

Our electric vans

From 2022, we will have a range of electric vans available to order, including single-shell panel vans and chassis cabs with your choice of backs.
